Ingredients

  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella

  • 3 tbsp. Freshly chopped parsley, plus more for garnish

  • 1 Large egg

  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs

  • 1 pound Ground turkey

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • Kosher salt

  • 1 can Crushed tomatoes

  • 2 tbsp. Freshly chopped rosemary

  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced and divided

  • 6 tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil

Method

  • 01
Preheat oven to 375℉. Make sauce: In a large pot over low heat, heat 1/4 cup oil. Add half the garlic and all the rosemary and stir, making sure it doesn't burn, until fragrant, 1 minute. Add tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Let simmer while you make meatballs.
  • 02
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine turkey, bread crumbs, egg, remaining garlic, and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Roll mixture into meatballs and set aside.
  • 03
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil. Add meatballs and brown, moving occasionally to ensure they don't stick, about 5 minutes.
  • 04
Ladle sauce into skillet and over meatballs. Top with cheese and bake until meatballs are cooked through, 10 minutes more.
  • 05
    Garnish with parsley and serve.
