This is a cute, easy and fast idea as a treat to someone special on Christmas’s Day morning. You will only need an egg, a slice of toasted bread, a teaspoon of butter and a heart-shaped cookie cutter to surprise a loved one on this special day. Using a spatula, slide the egg toast to a plate and enjoy.

1 toasted bread

Method

01First, toast a slice of bread. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out the center of the toasted bread.

02Heat a medium size frying pan on medium-high heat. Melt a teaspoon of butter. Place the cutout toast on the frying pan.

03Gently place an egg in the center of the toast, and cook until whites are opaque, and egg yolk is hot, but still runny.

04Using a spatula, slide the egg toast to a plate and enjoy.
