A very good recipe that will work for ground beef, venison, or a blend of meats. Used one pound of turkey and added a second can of beans - cannellini - that added color, plus we like beans. I have tweaked it slightly by adding a step at the beginning where I brown a little bit of brown sugar in the pot before adding the ground turkey, onion, and green pepper. I get a caramelization going on the meat and carry on as per the recipe. It adds a bit more color and flavor to the dish, still keeping the traditional flavours of a chili that everyone loves so much. Perfect fall recipe!
