  • Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper

  • Pinch of crushed red pepper

  • 1/8 tsp. onion powder

  • 1/8 tsp. dried oregano

  • ¼ cup peas — (don't add peas if you are on Whole30 and paleo diet)

  • 2 cups cooked chicken — shredded

  • ½ cup crushed tomatoes

  • 5 cups chicken broth

  • 2 cups sweet potato — diced

  • 1 garlic clove — minced

  • 1 cup red onions — diced

  • ½ cup celery — chopped

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

    In a large pot, heat olive oil over high heat. When the oil is hot, turn the heat down to medium.

    Add onion and celery. Sauté for 5-7 minutes or until the onions are soft and translucent. Don’t forget to stir occasionally.
