Do you ever have those moments when you want something sweet, but you don’t want to make a huge batch?  Maybe it’s just you and one other person living in your home and you really don’t have a need for a lot of desserts.  These Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes are the perfect small batch dessert!  These lava cakes are incredibly easy to make and ready in less than 30 minutes. Dig into a rich and delicious Chocolate Molten Lava Cake and cue the ooey-gooey center. This Molten Lava Cake recipe makes 8 servings to savor.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white sugar topping

  • 6 tbsp. flour

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1 package Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Method

  • 01
    Butter 4 small custard cups; place on baking sheet.

    Microwave chocolate and butter in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until butter is melted; whisk until chocolate is completely melted. Stir in sugar. Add whole eggs and egg yolks; mix well. Stir in flour. Spoon into prepared cups.

    Bake 13 to 14 min. or until edges of desserts are firm but centers are still soft. Let stand 1 min. Carefully run a knife around cakes to loosen; invert onto dessert plates. Serve warm with white sugar.
