Whenever possible, we prefer to make this popular banana and orange juice blend with freshly squeezed juice and recommend that you do, too. The flavor difference is remarkable. Depending on how juicy the oranges are, you'll need 8 to 12 juice oranges to yield 3 to 4 cups juice. Drink this juice within 24 hours! The banana will cause the juice to taste a bit off if left in the fridge too long.

Ingredients

  • 1 vanilla bean

  • 1 fresh turmeric

  • 1/2 pineapple, cubed

  • 6 oranges, peeled and sectioned

  • 2 ripe banana, peeled

Method

  • 01
Run the banana, orange sections, pineapple, and turmeric through a juicer.
  • 02
Shred the vanilla bean into several strands and place in a quart jar.
  • 03
Pour the juice into the jar and seal. Refrigerate for 2 hours before drinking to allow the vanilla to infuse.
